So I know it has been a little bit since I have written a blog post. Life has dealt my family and I a huge batch of lemons. My mind has been elsewhere the last couple of weeks, which has made it very tough to focus on much of anything. There has not been much sugar around to make lemonade and the rum is pretty much gone... Juuuust Kidding. But seriously! =D
I am going to leave it at this... a family member made some choices that were not so good. As this story has been unfolding, several other gut-punching ones have emerged. I plan on posting as much as I can, as the year starts, but please forgive me if there are lapses.
And moving on...
Here is the sugar in my life right now!
Seriously... this kid is growing TOO fast!!
In other news... I have been working in my classroom for several days this week. Oh.My.Goodness. It is was a disaster! Minnesota has added all day Kindergarten! Yay! But that also means that more classrooms need to be added.... which means that classrooms have to be moved to keep grade levels together... which equaled a HUGE pain!
Picture boxes and furniture strewn throughout the room! I have been working on getting everything separated (I have a room buddy this year!), the furniture organized and my things unpacked in a way that makes sense...at least to me! HA!
Here is a sneak peek at some of the things in my classroom this year! There will be more! =)
